The Glorious Train Wreck Mom

This is a safe space for all train wrecks. Except here, we don't give you a puppy and a latte. We give you sarcasm and humor.

Dear Self,

The Glorious Train Wreck Mom

Hi. How are you? I know we talk on a regular basis but nothing of much substance . And we are overdue for this conversation.

You are amazing. Seriously. You have been there, done that. You’ve been through so much. You’ve overcome even more.

You’ve written books. You’ve helped people.

There are scars on your soul, mind, heart, and body. Life broke you. The world broke you.

And you fixed yourself. You did it for those kids. You did it for yourself.

And that’s what makes you beautiful. That’s what makes you strong.

You are a warrior mother goddess. You are worthy of love. You deserve to be loved. And it’s been too long since I’ve said this. I love you. For as failed and flawed as you are, you are perfect and I love you.

And because I love you, I am making this promise to you. I will take care of you. I will honor and respect you. I will speak to you more kindly. And I will feed and water you better, physically and spiritually.

Thank you for everything we have been through and got through together. And I can’t wait to see what is next on our adventure.

And in case you forgot, I love you.

Love,

Yourself
