It’s Friday. So, I figured I would tell you what my day looks like in pictures.
5 am. Coffee is life. My day starts with walking Lucy while the coffee maker does the magic of creating an elixir of life.
6 am. Time to work out. Oy.
7 am. Get dressed. Get kids ready for school. Make lunches. Walk Lucy again. Say goodbye to offspring and head out the door.
8 am. Let’s get down to business. To defeat the spreadsheets. I have my hood up to let people know not to bother me. Because I have the time manager skills of a potato.
9 am. Got notification my swimsuit shipped. Good thing I worked out this morning.
10 am. Spreadsheets. ETA updates. Completion updates. Invoicing and paperwork updates.
12 pm. My dude. Really? With this email chain?
1 pm. Lunch. And we get Rick Rolled by the radio station.
2 pm. Back from lunch. Back to Spreadsheetville. Thankfully, the audiobook copy of my book “Nothing Like a Pool Party” needs to be reviewed. It’s so amazing hearing my words being read. Like, this is real live author stuff here.
3 pm. But why is it marked complete if it’s not actually completed?
4 pm. Reading an email that says something was a typo. And I know for a fact if I made that mistake, my managers would be involved. But hey whatever. That’s above my pay grade.
5 pm. Weekend!!!! What fun and wonderful adventures await us?
6 pm. Oh yeah. That’s right. Pool set up. Yay.
8 pm. It’s been a week. Time to sit and eat pretzels, drink beer, and watch CC Suarez videos.
11 pm. I’m Jack Kerouac, baby. I’m beat. Good night.
