Welcome aboard, train wreck.

Who needs a little help feeling the fall vibes? Summer is still hanging on here with temps in the nineties. I’m ready for my flannel shirt and boots. I want to go to a pumpkin patch and pay way too much for a pumpkin I’m going to gut like a slasher in an 80’s horror movie. Who’s with me here?
If this is your first time here, welcome aboard, train wreck. Glad to have you here. If this isn’t your first time here, I’m still glad to have you. Please like, comment,
share, and subscribe. My goal is to have five hundred subscribers by the end of the year. I think we can make that happen.
In my excitement for all things Halloween, I’ve been playing spooky and vintage jazz at my desk. I have recently been informed that not everybody is into the spooky side of fall and October. (Yes, Rachel from work. I mean you.) Apparently my morning playlist of Halloween jams (which I will be sharing later) didn’t help put her in the mood for work, or Halloween, or anything that involved fun. (She knows I’m kidding and I love her like the little sister I never got to have.)
So, I got to work to find all the work (and not spooky co-worker) approved playlist. My work environment is literally the best. We are pretty laid back. And our cubicles do absorb a lot of sound. My boss, whose office is right behind me, catches more of my music than anyone. Sorry, Lilly.
The requirements for the playlist were really not that hard. The songs had to be about fall and not get me pulled into HR. If it gets you moving and doing that weird little chair shake dance, even better. We’re pretty lucky and we have standy uppy desky things that let us stand or sit. So, maybe some cubicle dancing has occurred. Much to my own embarrassment.
I have found this is also a great playlist for reading, writing, crocheting, journaling, or anything that really isn’t even work related. I hope this list helps you get through your day. Whether it’s a commute to work, sitting in the drop off line at your kid’s school, or clearing out your email inbox (As per my last email, Susan.)
What is your favorite way to get in the fall vibe? Do you have any songs that you would add to this list?
Again, if you like what I post, please like, comment, share, and subscribe. If you read any of the books listed, please let me know what you thought of it. That’s all I’ve
got for today, train wrecks. All aboard.
