A few years ago, I learned about You’ve Been Booed. It’s a cute little idea where you leave a spooky treat for a coworker or neighbor. You do it on the sly and leave them instructions on how they can do it to someone else.

So, the rules are super simple. Print out the You’ve Been Booed and We’ve Been Booed signs.

Then you make a little something to give. This year, I’m doing cups with candy and Halloween goodies.

We don’t have neighbors I’m super close to so I do this with co-workers. The trick is to leave the signs and treats without being spotted. Lunch time is great time for that. Then you sit back and wait to hear someone say, “Hey, what is this?” I tend not to follow the rules. I have six co-workers I’m close with so they each get one. I spread them out through a week’s time.

And that’s it. A little Halloween spirit to make the day a little better.
