My Top 10 Favorite Book Covers from 2021

Welcome aboard, train wreck.

They say not to judge a book by its cover. But isn’t that the point of a beautiful book cover? To catch your attention and make you take it home? The book cover designers for these books did such amazing work and they deserve all the love and appreciation.

If this is your first time here, welcome aboard, train wreck. Glad to have you here. If this isn’t your first time here, I’m still glad to have you. Please like, comment, share, and subscribe. My goal is to have five hundred subscribers by the end of the year. I think we can make that happen.

I’ve read a lot this year. According to Goodreads I’ve read 118 books. And I’m in the middle of three right now. And in true bookworm fashion, I will stop reading just to admire the book cover. I would like to see some of these in their hardback cover form and see if that have dust jackets. I love when the dust cover is different from the front of the book. So now I’m going to show what I think are the most amazing covers of the books I read (so far).

We Are Never Meeting in Real Life

https://amzn.to/3s114Za Who doesn’t love a cute little kitty? And that yellow grabs your eyes. That is an aggressive yellow. And the frazzled state of this kitten makes this one of my favorite funny book covers.

Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

https://amzn.to/3pSECyJ Not just the cover, but the illustrations throughout the series, will remain tattooed in my brain.

The Lesser Dead

https://amzn.to/3GIFuwB I don’t know why but I love this cover. The ambiguity of the person on the cover. Is it a kid? A woman? Why is there blood? So so so much blood.

FantasticLand

https://amzn.to/3DT1YZW There is something so creepy about abandoned amusement parks. And I don’t know how but this cover looks like it caught the Ferris wheel in motion. Which totally lends to the uncanny valley journey this book takes you on. This was one of those delightful finds from my October TBR – 31 in 31 Part 2 So glad I found this.
https://amzn.to/3GJlTwa This is Halloween. Look at it. Black cat. Skull. Jack o’Lantern. And a weird randon cemetery. Plus, look at all those books. I love it.

The Final Girl Support Group

https://amzn.to/31VW1hZ It’s not the dripping chair. Although, that is amazing. It’s not the smeared fingerprints on the words. It’s the author’s name. Grady Hendrix. Want me to pick up a book? Throw Grady’s name on it.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

https://amzn.to/30q36Xt OK. Legit. BookTok made me buy this. BookTok made me read this. But that cover made me want to buy that dress. Are you kidding me? From cover to cover, this book had me hooked.
https://amzn.to/3s1Hj3x I can’t say enough about this book. But look at that cover. It’s got gothic horror feels all over it. If you want to read more about this book, check out my Book Review: The Good House
https://amzn.to/30swaxw This cover gave me chills. The picture does it no justice. I know there is another cover and it’s good too in the gothic novel sense. But this one is so creepy to me. It’s just such a cool book cover.
https://amzn.to/3dN9JpJ Look how gorgeous! The black, white, and red. The stars. The swirls. It’s so beautiful and I’m stuck wanting them to make a movie and please don’t ruin it. If you want to read more about this book, check out my Book Review: The Night Circus

Have you read any of these? What did you think? What made you grab it? What are some of your favorite beautiful book covers?

https://shopstyle.it/l/bBNZK Oh my lanta. If you know, you know. I love Disney. I love planners. And I’m really trying so hard for 2022 to be more organized and less train wreck. I think I need this.
