Welcome aboard, train wreck.

Christmas is over. That means you have to stop playing Jingle Bell Rock. I know. I don’t make the rules. So, what are you supposed to listen to now that all we have is winter?

I hate winter. I loathe it. I want to move to Florida where winter doesn’t exist. Winter is a great big gray bucket of suck. I don’t even have lights to hang on my seasonal depression anymore.
What I do have is music. Music has been my go to when I’m sliding down the rabbit hole. December is filled with great, uplifting songs. But what do we have for the rest of the season?
This playlist.
This is a playlist for us anti winter people. You won’t find us making snow people or having snowball fights. The closest to outside I’ll get is standing by the window, wrapped in a blanket, holding a cup of coffee, and saying, “Yup, it’s a rough one out there.” Then I’ll close the blinds and head back to the couch to finish my book.
It’s also appropriate for work. Which is a big deal for me. I play an hour from eight to nine and another hour from two to three. Mainly to let my phone charge. If I have a phone call with my big boss, then I’ll charge my phone and play music then. No one has said anything to me about my music choices so I’m going to keep going until further notice.
So, what do you listen to in the winter? Instrumental? Indie? Standards? Let me know and I’ll add it to this playlist.
