You know I love a good read, but there’s something special about seeing those stories come to life on the big screen. “The Princess Bride” First up, we have “The Princess Bride,” which is based on the novel by William Goldman. This movie has everything – romance, adventure, and some seriously quotable lines (“As you wish” anyone?). I mean, who doesn’t love a good story about true love and high adventure?

“The Shawshank Redemption” Next up, we have “The Shawshank Redemption,” based on a novella by Stephen King. This movie is a true classic, with amazing performances by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. “The Hunger Games” Now, let’s talk about “The Hunger Games,” based on the novel by Suzanne Collins. This movie is a dystopian masterpiece that will have you on the edge of your seat. Jennifer Lawrence is amazing as Katniss, and the world-building is so well done that you’ll feel like you’re right there in the arena.

“Gone Girl” If you’re in the mood for a twisty, suspenseful thriller, look no further than “Gone Girl,” based on the novel by Gillian Flynn. This movie will keep you guessing until the very end, with amazing performances by Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck. Just be warned – it’s not for the faint of heart!

“The Fault in Our Stars” Last but not least, we have “The Fault in Our Stars,” based on the novel by John Green. This movie is a beautiful, heartbreaking love story that will have you reaching for the tissues. Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort are amazing as Hazel and Gus, and the soundtrack is just perfect.
