It's dark when I go to work. It's dark when I come home. So, we need a little brightness lately. Even if it's from the glow of the TV as we watch our favorite holiday movies.
I made the regretful choice to look up the trending gifts for Mom. I have a question for the people writing these lists and articles. Do you have mothers? Are you moms? Do you know any mothers? Have you actively spoken to a human who has birthed a child? Because your writing comes off like someone who has observed mothers in their natural habitats but you never actually interacted with them.
If you're like me (and you most likely are since you're here) you just recovered from Thanksgiving. Your house finally looks fairly normal. The dishes are mostly done. And you've been able to put lights on your laundry pile and call it festive. You can finally take a breath and relax. Yeah, right.
In true train wreck fashion, I'm driving myself mad working on my TBR for 2022. You wouldn't think it was a big deal. Just pick up a book and read it. But it's not that simple.
I got to thinking. So many people wait until January to make changes in their lives. Resolutions. Promises. New Year New Me. I ain't got time to wait. I'm making changes now.
