Whether it’s a line from your favorite childhood book or something more recent, quotes have the ability to stick with us long after we finish reading the last page. They can be inspirational, motivational, and sometimes even heartbreaking. I hope you enjoyed this roundup of some of the most memorable quotes in literature—let me know which one is your favorite in the comments below!
December 2021 Cozy Mystery Book Releases
December is in a few days. And with a new month comes new books and new book releases. I'm giving you this list now so you can add it to your wish list from Santa.
Bookshelf Organization and Tour
I love my book collection. I love knowing at any given moment I can grab book and enjoy it in my house. The only problem is this. My bookshelf becomes a catchall.
November Book Bingo
I'm having a hard time dealing with the fact that it's the end of October. We haven't visited one haunted house. Not one pumpkin patch. I didn't even put out my tombstones or projectors this year. It honestly felt like the Halloween that just wasn't. Anyone else feel that?
Bookshelf Tour
I'm pretty new to the whole bookshelf owning thing. We haven't always been in a position where I could buy books. We've come a long way and now I have a small library. It wasn't until I joined the Bookstagram and BookTok communities that I saw people showing off their books. So, why not me?
10 Free Kindle Horror Books
One of the tragedies of being a bookworm is having an infinite hunger for books but a very finite bank account. For many book lovers, the library has been our saving grace. Unfortunately, I live in town but not enough in town to qualify for a free library card. It's something to do the county I live in. We have a used bookshop that I love but those books still aren't free.
So, what's a train wreck with a fiction addiction to do?
Kindle to the rescue. I'm not talking about Kindle Unlimited (you check that out here https://amzn.to/3mBxsxg ). These are real, live actual books. Because sometimes, authors will offer you the first in their book series to get you hooked and then you feel compelled to buy the rest of the series. Which may have happened a time or two in my Kindle ownership.
10 Creepy Reads for Dark and Stormy Nights
I've posted my October TBR. I've written about witchy cozy mysteries. But maybe you need more. More thrills. More chills. More blood spills. Look no farther than here. I'm bringing you ten creepily good books that will bring the nightmares.
October TBR – 31 in 31 Part 3
Here it is. The final list of my to be read in October. I have to admit to a little trepidation. But even if I only make it through the first list, that's still ten books. That puts me ten books closer to my reading goal of one hundred books for the year. And just to give you fair forewarning, yes. There are three Disney villain books on here. I don't want to hear anything about how they're not scary. If a stepmother sending her stepkid into the woods to be killed isn't scary to you, you're on a whole different level than me. Plus, I may have Disney on the brain with an upcoming trip being planned. And BooBash looks like so much fun. Anyway. I also have a few re-reads. Because I loved them so much I have to revisit with them. Even if they scared the hell out of me the first time I read them. So, without further ado, here's the last eleven books on my thirty one in thirty one challenge. I've included my book bingo card again, in case you missed it on the last two blogs.
