It's that time again. Time to list everything we're grateful for. Even if it's just for social clout. Because Gosh forbid, you don't display your gratitude on Facebook like Grandma's silver at Thanksgiving.
A Letter to My Mom
I love you. That doesn’t say it all. I really can’t. I have all these great words and in the end they are pretty useless and pointless when it comes to telling you how much you mean to me. You have been my guiding light, my pushing force. You’ve been my biggest challenger and supporter.... Continue Reading →
Why I love my mother in law
We've all heard our share if monster in laws. There are whole Dr Phil episodes dedicated to mothers in law from Hell. There's even a movie or a hundred about terrible mothers in law. I have a son now. I get it. No one is good enough for your baby boy. That's cool. I was... Continue Reading →
Happiness Challenge Day 8
I know I've already talked about making art. Crafting is an art. Making things in is a craft. There are many other forms of crafting aside from drawing and sculpture. I grew up in a crafting house. My mom would tell you she was nothing special. She would tell you the things she created were not magical, mystical, or wonderful.... Continue Reading →
You Might Be a Mom If…
You have to scream to get anyone to listen to you!! This seems to be a universal mom thing. No one seems to listen or pay attention to you until you turn into a stark, raving lunatic. Then, they all stand around and try to figure out why the men in the white jackets are... Continue Reading →
How I Completely Changed My Life with a Roomba
I love my Roomba. This is my Roomba review. I love my Roomba so much. I love how the i Robot Roomba makes vacuuming one less chore that I have to do. I don't have to move my furniture. I don't have to worry about anything. I usually fold and put laundry away while my roomba is running. That right there is work smarter not harder. Any time I can get more done in less time is a life saver. I really think every mother needs this in her life.
My iRobot Roomba 652 is the best robot vacuum in my opinion.
My 15 Year Journey
Us. A year ago. Things are different now. Hair. Height. Jobs. People who live with us. Mental health. But one thing that has never changed is my love for this kid. Kid. That's funny. Technically, she's still a kid. And she does some kid things like watch goofy things, forget to do the dishes, and... Continue Reading →
Spider web painting with spray paint
Spider web painting This involves real webs. It's a great way to teach kids about the difference in spiders and their webs. That's because each spider has a different kind of web for its needs, funnel webs, trap doors, and such. That's how they're classified, too, by the types of webs they spin. How cool is that?... Sacrificing Mom
There is so much that I wish for. It’s hard admitting that because as humans, moms in particular, are trained to believe wanting things is greedy and selfish. We’re taught to take care of everyone else before us. I’ve even seen infographics on Facebook that put women/wives/moms last in a hierarchy. God then husband then... Continue Reading →
You Are the Difference, Mom
I just read a post that has me bawling. It was simple and heartfelt and it addressed the one thing moms always wonder. Do I make a difference? So many days, as a stay at home mom, you wonder if anyone notices. You start to think that it’s only noticed when you don’t do it.... Continue Reading →
